Dominique Garnier Villa
Sophie observes who stands by a wall. Jean is on his way to the villa. Terry is unconscious for a couple of hours, and Vincent is trying to hide Terry out of sight.
Sophie notices two police officers approach her car. They tell her that’s a typical inspection. Request her ID card. They tell her that they know her friends are inside the house, trespassing it. She claims she doesn’t know anything, but they ask her to join them at the police station.
They lock Sophie and Eleonore at the backseat of the police car and they head towards Mary. Sophie informs Emilien by texting him.
Mary doesn’t understand what the police officers are saying. “Tourist. Christian.” And in response “Police, police!”. He follows their orders.
A reply from Emilien arrives. “The police is not involved in the case!”
Sophie text Jean to inform him about the current situation, and that he should beware of police officers.
Eleonore is trying to help Mary (English only) with Sousou (French only). Mary tells Sophie about Terry and Vincent being inside the villa.
Entering the Villa
Jean shows up. Climbs the wall and enters the villa yard. Then steps inside the house by going through a broken window. Fails the Stealth roll.
Vincent succeeds with his Listen roll and hears the commotion Jean made. He hides behinds it.
Jean is looking around the place and calls out Vincent and Terry’s name. He fakes a call with Sophie and mentions Trantigian. He gets hit at the back of his head, but remains conscious (takes 1 HP) and a mist engulfs him.
He moves away and finds the door to the house. Opening it, he notices there’s still fog around. Closes the door and calls out to the coward to show his face. Get banged on the head ahead and passes out (3 HP).
The Resurrection
Vincent waits for the Terry to wake up. When he does, he calls him “Daniel”. Vincent suggests that they leave because the house is surrounded by the police. Dominique suggests they go through the cellar. Also, they need a host for Simone.
They leave the villa. They don’t find Mary near the wall. They noticed the police.
Jean wakes up tied up. He had already been searched by Vincent.
Escape
The police notice Vincent and Terry exit the villa. “They are the fuckers! Let’s get them!” and rush them with swords in hand. Three more appear from another direction.
Mary tries to break the glass window of the police car using the Bible. Hits the door and it opens. Vincent casts Mist of R’lyeh to potentially help him not get killed.
Jean wakes up, walks outside, notices what is going on and hides while waiting for things to calm down. Terry shoots one of the police men trying to take him out.
Sophie and Mary observe the situation. The former realizes that the ones who pose a danger are the police men, so she tries to get them into the police car and drive off.
Jean climb out of the villa and attempts to escape.
Combat ensues between the police men and Vincent & Terry. Vincent kills another police officer, by stabbing him in the throat with a sword. Then they enter the car where they see Sophie and Mary.
Revelations
Vincent reveals to Mary that he is Josheph de la Curvien and that he has borrowed Vincent’s body. Also, Terry is now his friend Dominique Daniel. The dagger was his prison, an artifact in the mansion was Daniels, and that now they need to release another friend Simone. They need to find a golden watch and asks her whether she has heard anything about it.
Daniel say that the watch is at the HQ of the Lodge of the Seven Mysteries. This society wanted to capture angels and use they power for they own schemes.
Sophie drives to the hotel, and then contacts Emilien and fills him in about the golden watch (which is in his possession). He tells her that he’ll come to them.
Sophie calls Jean and requests his presence at the hotel where the Lodge gathers.
The Headquarters
Sophie questions the nature of angels that Josheph and Dominique claim to be. Josheph tries to convince her that it is true. After releasing Simone, they will be able to go back to God and free the initial hosts.
Mary remembers a passage from the book of Genesis:
” And it came to pass, when the sons of men had increased, that in those days beautiful and graceful daughters were born. And the angels, the children of heaven, saw them and desired them, and said among themselves: ‘Come, let us choose for ourselves wives from among the children of men and let us beget children of our own.’ And Semiazas, who was their leader, said to them: ‘I fear you will not agree to do this thing, and I alone will pay the penalty of a great sin.’ And they all answered him and said: ‘Let us all swear an oath and let us pledge ourselves not to abandon this plan but to do what we have decided.’ Then they all swore together and bound themselves with mutual curses. And in all there were two hundred who went down in the days of Jared upon the top of Mount Hermon, and called it Hermon, because they swore and cursed one another upon it…”
Mary asks Vincent to fly as an angel. He says that he can’t do that in this body. She also notices that Vincent isn’t wearing a cross.
Jean shows up and Mary approaches him, asking him whether he knows. Sophie tries to keep him from talking.
The clock strikes midnight. A groom arrives and tells Sophie that Emilien expects everyone in room 7.
When Joseph enters the room, he immediately understand that Emilien is in possession of the golden watch. He introduces himself as Josheph de la Curvien.
Jean figures out what is going on. They are Nephilim. He screams at the rest about it.
Emilien tells them that he will consult with the Lodge.
Jean claims that he is very excited about meeting all the high-ranking members of the Lodge, and tell Sophie that he needs to use the bathroom. He goes out and informs the EOD. They tell him to follow the plan. In case a Nephilim needs to die, he must use brass (ορείχαλκος).
Emilien informs Josheph that the assembly with gather to vote within 3 hours and that they will have an answer in the morning. Joseph doesn’t buy that.
Dominique wants a private chat with Emilien. He pulls him aside and then Emilien hands over the watch to him, saying that he trusts them, and he expects to have it returned at some point.
Sophie is trying to be helpful with the Nephilim.
Jean tries to convince Mary into stealing the watch back and make it look like the Lodge changed their minds. And they pray.
Joseph and Dominique have a brief discussion about the golden watch.
What about Vincent?
Vincent starts yelling out names “Mary help me! Father Ferguson! Anybody can hear me?”
He thinks that he might be able to use one of Joseph’s spells now that he is asleep.
He sends a whisper to Mary’s ears “Mary, I need your help. I can’t control my body. You need to free me from this Limbo place. The Nephilim wants my body and want you also. You need to cut its head off. That will kill me, but if you convince it, he’ll possess someone else”.
Mary failing a pushed Theology roll believes that Fr Ferguson should be brought here to perform an exorcism.
