Sunday, March 23rd, 1996
Hospital
Vincent regains his consciousness. Realizes that he is inside a hospital room. A doctor notices him and informs him about his whereabouts. She then goes out to inform Terry, Mary and Sophie, who they go in to see him.
Mary prays for Vincent. Terry informs Vincent about the missing dagger. The doctors asks Vincent questions about things he might remember.
Outside the hospital
Sophie calls Eleonore and gives her some orders. Then calls Benjamin and informs him about what she found out about the situation.
S.O.S from Jean
Jean calls Sophie and asks her for help. He cannot move his legs and he is in terrible pain. He is near the village where there is a sign “Rue de la Morte”. Sophie drives off, after ordering Eleonore to follow the others if they leave the hospital.
Message from God
While Mary is praying, she hears a voice “You must trust Vincent. He is very important Mary.”
What happened to Vincent
Vincent mumbles and whispers Mary’s name in his sleep. Mary shows up and tries to comfort him.
Rescuing Jean
Sophie finds an injured Jean in a ditch. Picks him up and drives him to a nearby inn. She then calls Emilien and informs him about what Jean told her:
- He was attacked by fish people.
- Maybe it was Mary.
- The dagger was empowered.
She removes his clothes and gives him some sedatives. Jean rolls Extreme Con and does not fall asleep.
Vincent’s Revelation
He confesses to Mary and Terry about voices he’s been hearing. Mary tells him it’s Jesus. A sign from God! He mentions that the voice gave him an address, where they will find the next artifact, they need for the Holy War. He insists that they should go there. Terry warns them about the missing dagger.
They leave the hospital.
The Crime Scene
Sophie drives to Jean’s crime scene. Spots signs of scuffle and some blood. And then sticks around to see if she can spot anything.
The Drive
Vincent, Mary and Terry drive towards the address. They discuss the visions. They arrive at a villa on St. Josheph 11. Mary calls Terry go check out the villa. The rest follow.
Sophie’s Choice
Eleonore calls Sophie and tells her where Vincent and Mary are. Sophie departs immediately, right after she locks Jean inside the room.
The French Guy
There is a gate with a chain and a rusted lock blocking the way. The house looks deserted. Mary tells Vincent that he should try to open the gate with his mind.
Mary notices a person, rather large man, nearby and goes towards him for instructions. He can only speak French. The group decided to come back later during the night.
Eleonore, informs Sophie again that they are on the move again. Sophie wants to find out more about the house.
The Snake
14:00
Jean wakes up and calls Mary. Tells her that she should trust him. The snake is “Sophie”. Mary tell him the location of the restaurant they are at.
He heads there. Leaves a message to Sophie “Mon ami, please trust me. No matter what you hear about me, I’ll always be yours. XXX”
The Townhall
Madame Sousou arrives at the town hall. The property at St. Josheph 11 belongs to Dominique Garnier. Bought just before the French Revolution and registered it as a landmark in Paris.
She tries to call Jean. He picks up and tells her that he wants to talk to Emilien. He mentions Trantignian and hangs up.
The Restaurant & Sophie’s secret
Jean shows up at the restaurant. Vincent doesn’t seem to recognize Jean. Jean can’t convince the group to trust him. They ask him to go.
Jean calls Sophie and asks about Trantignian and Emilien. She gets angry for not trusting her. Jean suddenly recalls that Mary handed over the book to Sophie! She is currently at the town registry, so he decides to drive there.
The Conspiracy
Jean meets Sophie. Jean learns that Sophie had the book at some point, gave it to Emilien for examination. Sophie tells Jean that she gave it back to Mary, so it must be in the place where they are staying at.
Breaking-in
Jean enters the motel. Finds out where Mary’s room is and finds the book. Kills the receptionist with Breath of the Deep for not letting him take the book. And then leaves for the EOD’s HQ to deliver the dagger and the book.
The Mansion
Terry and Vincent enter the mansion. Vincent discovers an artifact and asks Terry to light the fireplace and toss it into the fire.
Terry does that and then falls unconscious. Vincent puts out the fire, grabs the artifact and puts it into his pocket. Then tries to drag Terry into the car.
Sophie arrives and notices Mary waiting in the car. She calls Jean to show up there.
Jean delivers the dagger and the book to EOD.
