Mary and Vincent discuss their next course of action.

The note that Sophie planted in Jean’s pocket mentions a date (Thursday 18th of March), the hotel address where they met Emilien and a Sigil (The Lodge’s One).

Jean calls Sophie and tells her that he wants in.

Vincent receives a phone call from Mr. Trintignant and arrange a meeting with him at around 23:00 (at a specific address). He mentioned not to carry the Celtic Dagger with him. Terry and Vincent take a cab and drive to the address. Jean follows them with his car (he was staking the place).

The cab stops in front of an alley. There is a young man that comes out “Excuse me sir, do you have light?”. “Sorry, I don’t smoke”, said Vincent.

Then go to the address, knock on the door but there is no answer. Looking around, Vincent, find the rotting smelling corpse of a fat man. No eye lashes and his skin is scaly. It is Mr. Ernest Trintignan (verified by his id card). He has a short Napoleonic short sword with him, along a .44 revolver.

Jean checks out the body after the other two leave. He is upset. Drives to Sousou’s place and tell her about everything, except for the man’s appearance.

Vincent and Terry go back to the hotel, and they find that Mary is asleep.

Jean and Sophie go to the hotel and stake out the place a bit. Sophia calls Jean Mariniere (a contact of hers) and tell him about the body. He called her back at the phone booth later at 2 am, and he say that they found nobody there.

Saturday, March 22th, 1996#

Vincent and Terry retell the events of past night to Mary Grayson. They decide to leave with a cab and head to the village.

Jean intercepts them and convinces Mary (Psychology 100% Fumble) that he is to be trusted. He calls Sophie and tells her that he’ll bring them over to her place.

Sophie receives a phone call from Henri de Marlon’s secretary and informs her that he’s at the hospital being attacked (accident). She goes there.

Outside the hotel the group sees the Cigarette smoking man from last night. They board Jean’s car and drive off. He manages to lose him with a Drive Roll. Arrived at Sophie’s house and entered. Jean riffles through her stuff. Sophie gets to the hotel. Finds Marlon who seems to have had a mental breakdown from the accident, a hit-and-run incident. Then she heads back to her apartment.

She meets the group, which eventually decides to head back to London. Jean drives them to the airport, bids them farewell.

Vincent, Mary and Terry decide not to fly back to London. Instead, they choose to go to the village. Sophie tried to book airflight tickets for Jean and herself, but then she found out that they haven’t booked tickets for London.

Jean casts Breath of the Deep on the airplane pilot to try and stop or stall the flight.
