By presenting themselves as lawyers, they interview a public spokesman of the company behind Kincaid Storage Sheds. In return he refers them to Detective Lisa Ballwin of the LASD Homicide Bureau, assigned to the Ray’s case.
Their request for CCTV footage from the night of her murder, will be directed to the company’s legal department.
Contacting Ray’s parents over the phone, reveals that they are surprised to hear that the FBI is involved in the case. Surely the LASD are doing their best to find out who’s responsible for her daughter’s death.
Agent Myra attempts to convince them that LASD might be covering up the story and provides his name and phone number as a point of contact in case they want to share more information with him.

Agent Jocko notices installed motion sensors, but not cameras.
Agents Artemis and Locke draw a neighbor’s attention by causing some unwanted noise.

Agent Myra notices an LASD cruiser approaching and warns the others.
Deputies Milano & Werner enter the house and are both neutralized and restrained by the combined effort of Jocko, Locke and Artemis.
“El Jocko” intimidates them into keeping their mouth shut by taking their ID cards and photos of beloved ones and letting them know that he will come and find them. He accidentally mentions “Wendy” and “Artemis” in front of the cops.
Before they evacuate the house, Agent Artemis finds a discarded needle in a closet on the upper floor.
Agent Locked takes a motion sensor for further examination.
Out of Trouble
On her way out, Agent Artemis is seen and has her picture taken by a neighbor holding a smartphone and filming the scene. Instead of leaving, she waits until more police vehicles arrive.
As LASD deputies interview the man as a witness, she steps in and accuses him of taking photos of her without her consent. A verbal argument between her and the neighbor in front of a clearly annoyed officer to move on to the next witness interview.
