Tuesday, October 31st, 1922 - 07:00#

The monolith has been set up. There are eight people patrolling the area.

The group decided to have Max and Raymond head to the tailor and pick up the robes, while the others stay back to stake out the place.

A trip to the city of Angels

• Fried chicken wings.
• Max’s notebook
• Robes
• Rope
• Molotov cocktails
• Binoculars

They also visit the Church for additional information, but they find it difficult to notice anything else.

Max talks to Raymond about the possibility of Jessica (Raymond’s daughter), having an affair with Barnabas.

Ritual Site activity#

Barnabas goes out egg hunting, while Freddy stakes out the place and notices that the cultist do not seem to be interested in entering the tents. Decides to check out one of them.

He notices that there is a table in one of these. Stands nearby and observes whether someone decides to enter.

Ritual Site activity 10:30#

Another track shows up with six cultists. They unload firewood and place it around the monolith. There is also another stack of firewood around.

Convergence – 13:00#

The group gathers. Raymond uses the binoculars and a successful Cthulhu Mythos to realize that the rune carvings on the monolith amplifies the strength of the spell that is going to be performed.

At 14:00 the following begins to happen.

• Max walks up to the monolith to vandalize it. He is captured and led inside a tent. He gets interrogated, fails his Charm roll, and get tied up and gagged.
• Raymond enters a tent. Gets noticed and asked to join another cultist to patrol around the premises.
• Freddy loosens up the iron stakes in the ground. Notices Max and Raymond. Enters a tent and finds a pillow that reeks of sea. Then heads back to Barnabas.
• Barnabas attempts to rescue Max. Fails the stealth roll and starts farting uncontrollably, resulting in being heard by the cultists. Succeeds an Extreme CON roll and manages to escape, leaving a big “bear-sided” turd behind.
• Raymond enters another tent (Stealth roll) and goes looking for something out of the ordinary. There is a table and crates with supplies. Then enters the tent where Max was held and frees him. They both run out and encounter Barnabas in the woods. It is already getting late.

After dark#

• Freddy comes back from his watch where he was taken earlier and is told that a weird guy who was apprehended earlier, managed to escape. The patrols should be three people now.
• More cultists arrive with lots of food, and they start feasting.
• Barnabas heads out to locate Freddy. Easily finds him and fills him in with everything we have found out.

At 20:00 the group decides to set up a road ambush. Max stands guard with binoculars and is read to inform the others (Barnabas and Freddy) by shouting out like a Horned Owl. Raymond heads back to the clearing to observe the situation.

At 22:00 Max notices a car approaching. He makes the signal, which sounds like a jackal.

The car stops at the expected location. Louise Crosby exits. There are two more people inside. Freddy takes a shot at her for 10HP. She drops down on the ground, bleeding from her neck.

The gunshot was not heard at the ritual site.

Barnabas tells Wilma and Elsie to get outside the car with their hands up. Barnabas starts to swell and bleed from his eyes (was attacked by a spell).

Freddy takes a shot at Vilma and hits her for 3 hp. She casts a spell at Freddy and disabled him for the time being.

Then Wilma and Elsie escape towards the ritual site.

Max gets to his friends and tries to assist them.

Raymond notices Wilma and Elsie, rushing in a hurry to try to start the ritual. They yell that they were attacked and that they need to do the ritual NOW.

Raymond gets chained up but managed to escape.

The others slowly start to head to the cleaning. They managed to avoid the cultists’ patrol that was sent out for them.

Raymond notices Wilma wiping some of the blood coming out of her wound onto the Cthulhu Idol. Twelve people are chained around the monolith. Wilma explains why it is important to offer themselves as sacrifices.

The group arrives. Red lights appear up in the sky, and everyone present is starting to stare at them. Raymond feels like he wants to die and walks into the fire.

Barnabas get closer to Vilma’s guards and tells them “They are over there!”

Freddy throws the Molotov and Wilma catches on fire after being dowsed with the flammable liquid. She dies.

Freddy sneaks away from attention.

Cultists grab Barnabas and gets dragged towards the trucks.

Max follows Elsie who tries to run away. Fails to convince her to stop, and when he shot at her, she was doused in white light, and then disappears into the darkness.

Raymond manages to get the idol that was sitting on the top of the monolith. He touches it and becomes 6 years older than he was.

Barnabas & Freddy are loaded into a truck. Raymond & Max follow the truck. The truck gets stuck at the ambush point. Raymond tries to distract them. Freddy grabs a guard’s gun and kills another two. Barnabas performs a similar action, and they eventually take care of the other two guards.

The group escapes with their own car, parked nearby.

The police stops them and takes photos of them. Barnabas tries to shoot the camera but misses. The group got arrested and sent to prison.
